Challenge
A widely used fuel-price app with a lower-quality codebase was losing users to crashes and memory leaks.
What I did
- Fixed numerous memory leaks and bugs across the app.
- Implemented new, stable features on top of the existing codebase.
- Worked with Java, the Android SDK, the Google Maps SDK, Dagger, Retrofit and RxJava.
Outcome
- Crash-free users up from about 90% to 99.6%.
