An AI family assistant app, built solo in Flutter
Delivered Lighten's MVP as the single developer: AI chat with text, voice and images, onboarding, forms and tasks.
Challenge
Lighten needed an MVP of its family-assistant app on both platforms, built from Figma designs by one engineer. The core feature is an AI assistant that helps families manage schedules and tasks.
What I did
- Integrated the AI chat screen: real-time conversation with the assistant, text and voice messages, and image upload for analysis.
- Implemented secure login and registration flows.
- Built a multi-step onboarding with interactive, personalised elements.
- Developed dozens of complex forms capturing family information and preferences.
- Designed and implemented the task management screen.
Outcome
- MVP delivered on iOS and Android from a single Flutter codebase.
- Complex Figma designs implemented as a functional, polished UI.
