From unusable to production-ready, weeks before release
Took over an unfinished, unstable app and shipped it to the Play Store on schedule.
Challenge
The client approached me with an unfinished and unstable app that was due to release in a few weeks.
What I did
- Refactored and re-implemented all core features of the app.
- Moved all data processing off the main thread.
- Optimised most of the UI.
Outcome
- Production-ready and released on the Play Store on schedule.
- Stable core features and a responsive UI.
